Who we are

This license is between you and Software Rangers GmbH, Schafjückenweg 2, 26180 Rastede, Germany.

Your license

We give you a simple, non-transferable license to install and use our software on your own devices - as described in this agreement.

We don't transfer any other rights - in particular, the copyright to the software remains with us.

You can install and use the software on up to 6 of your own devices, unless the number of devices was otherwise specified when you bought your license.

What you can't do

You are not allowed to copy, resell, or share your license with others.

You are not allowed to reverse engineer, decompile, take apart, remove, or change any parts of the software - unless the law in your country clearly allows it.

You are not allowed to use the software for anything illegal.

You are not allowed to access our backend APIs directly (unless they are explicitly documented by us as public APIs). They are only intended for use by our products.

Special terms for AI Ranger

AI Ranger uses different AI models from different AI providers. They may experience slowdowns or errors depending on demand. We do not guarantee specific speeds, or AI availability.

AI makes mistakes. We do not guarantee any level of quality for the content produced by the AIs.

The data you send is not used for AI training and is not stored long-term on the servers. See our privacy policy for details.

AI Ranger is offered at a flat price per month or year, based on expected normal usage patterns. If your usage significantly exceeds these, AI Ranger may reduce processing speed or switch to a smaller AI model in the same hosting region. We do this to ensure fair access for all users and the long-term sustainability of the service at a fair price.

Liability

We are only responsible for damages if they are caused on purpose or through gross negligence. We are not liable for other kinds of damage (like lost profits or data loss), unless explicitly mandated by the law.

Warranty

The software is provided “as is”, without additional guarantees, unless required by law.

We provide free support via email. Security and maintenance updates are provided when they're available.

Refunds and Fixes

If you do not like the product you can cancel your purchase and get a refund within 14 days of the purchase date.

You found a serious problem with the product or something is not as described? Let us know and we will either fix it or give you a refund. For unlimited licenses you can request this within two years of your purchase. For subscriptions you have to let us know while your subscription is still active. Refunds apply only to the latest subscription payment.

If you break the rules

If you break this agreement, your license ends automatically and you must delete the software.

Law and place of jurisdiction

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) and rules of private international law that would apply other laws.

If you are a consumer, you can bring legal claims in the courts where you live. If you are a business or merchant, the exclusive place of jurisdiction is Oldenburg (Oldb.), Germany.
